The Dodge Circuit EV displays bold exterior and interior styling with outstanding performance, zero gasoline consumption and zero tailpipe emissions.

The Dodge Circuit EV design screams pure sports car from every angle. The Dodge Circuit EV’s profile demonstrates perfect proportions for balanced handling, placing the driver and passenger midway along the wheelbase. At the front of the vehicle, the distinctive Dodge crosshair grille splits the wind, sending it over the long, low hood and cleanly over the windshield and cockpit. The body sides feature a deep scallop, providing visual depth and also a functional rear-brake air duct. At the rear, the functional elements blend with design to create a uniform finish.

The Dodge Circuit EV is adorned in all-new “Tangoreen” exterior color, wearing large “EV” graphics on both sides of the sports car.

The auto world is abuzz with the latest Audi unveiling.  Setting all new standards in design and technology, the new Audi Sportback Concept was showed off at the Detroit Auto Show a few days ago.

The technology of the Audi Sportback concept is markedly futuristic. Power is provided by the world’s cleanest diesel technology: the 3.0-liter V6 TDI clean diesel almost completely eliminates nitrogen oxides. This engine already meets the emissions limits of all 50 U.S. states and the EU6 standard scheduled to take effect in 2014. And numerous measures to ensure top efficiency mean that the Audi Sportback concept is expected to achieve impressive fuel consumption figures of 5.9 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers (39.87 US mpg).

As the EVO X makes a highly anticipated entrance across the globe it will do so on a solid grounding created by the legacy of EVO dumplings dating as far back as 1992. The EVO’s marketing strategy
is focused on selling a road car with track abilities, and not the other way around, creating a balance which young petrol heads have long lusted over.

These “out the box” track toys have, in part, been
the driving force behind the growing popularity of track days and their setup has been configured to be very capable in the hands of an amateur and absolutely deadly in the reins of an experienced pilot. Better still, the 4G63 motor is harmonious to bolton products so if you feel strongly about chasing times it’s not hard to turn them into a timesheet chainsaw. Every EVO model carried with it something special; more power, smarter electronics or a better aerodynamic package. With the EVO IX it was a combination of all these

elements with the same famous rally grit found under the finger nails. For this owner the EVO IX was worth ditching his two Subarus for, and although both cars were modified the EVO, helped along by NxGEN, is his most extreme project.. He continues to prove how well he can manage the package and bagged top spot (in the 4WD class) at the recent Subaru v.s. BMW track day (featured this issue) and showed his versatility by also winning the Subaru day held at Phakisa in Welkom with a flying 1m:49. Around South Africa’s premier racing circuit, Kyalami, his usual hunting ground, he consistently collects all eleven turns in the 1m:57’s.Those familiar with the track will know that a lap-time below two minutes takes practice and he gets enough of that, using every chance to stick the pedal into the floorboards.

An open cockpit, an engine producing more than 220 kW (300 hp) and a host of technologies borrowed from the world of motorsports – the Audi TT clubsport quattro is an uncompromising driving machine. Audi is presenting an updated version of the spectacular showcar and sensation of 2007 at the Wörthersee Tour, the big meet for Audi and VW enthusiasts in Reifnitz (Kärnten), Austria, from May 21 to 25.

Purism at a premium level – this was the goal that the designers and engineers set themselves for the Audi TT clubsport quattro. The low windshield is extremely flat. The A-pillars are nearly invisible, making the continuous window strip appear to be a single casting. Instead of the compartment for the soft top there are two humps behind the passenger compartment – the lines of the showcar painted in Suzuka Gray, pearl effect are intensely evocative of a speedster. Mounted in front of the humps are two massive rollover bars, which together with the strong A-pillars protect the driver and passenger if the car should roll over.

The front end is dominated by the powerful single-frame grill painted in high-gloss black. Beneath the headlamps, which feature a strip of LED daytime running lights, are large air inlets covered by horizontally split black grills.
